NEW 90 day challenge...day EIGHT

I planned to take another day off...then i wanted to workout...then i wanted a day off...but i ended up at the gym haha Just one of those days as i'm sure we've all had!

Meal 1: 2 whole eggs and 2 egg whites with 4 pieces of turkey bacon, half a banana and some blackberries

Meal 2: tuna with salsa, spicy brown mustard and black olives

Meal 3: Vanilla Vi-shake

Workout:
Did my own thing...decided to max out on squat so i can start the wendler strength program next week. I definitely thought i was stronger than i was. I ended up maxing out at 145...so that really needs work!!!

After that i rowed/jumped. 500m row, 2 minutes jump rope with 10 seconds of double unders, 400m row, 1 minute jump rope with one double under and one single over and over, 300m row with one minute jump rope with 10 seconds of double unders, 200m row with 20 double unders, 100m row and 20 double unders

During workout: Pro

Post workout shake: banana creme

Meal 4: healthy choice gumbo (i got tired of cooking tonight)

Meal 5: egg whites

NEW 90 day challenge....day SIX

SO so so so sore.......

breakfast: same as always 3 whole eggs though 1 egg white, 4 pieces of bacon and some blackberries

Meal 2: tuna with spicy brown mustard, organic salsa and black olives

Meal 3: organic beef stew

Went to have 1st session with Dr. Tim today...definitely have some issues to work through...neck is misaligned, pelvis is tilted, shoulder is sitting in socket wrong, hip is misaligned...ohhhh boy!

Workout:
skill work--front squat 5-5-5-5-5

WOD:
AMRAP in 8:00
7 1-arm kb swings each arm
9 box jumps
11 ab mat situps

Cashout:
mobility

Did the front squat with 100 lbs...up 5 lbs from last time!!

Did 5 rounds plus 4 kb swings on one arm total in 8 minutes. Used the 26 lb kb and the 24" box jump and did butterfly situps.

Felt good doing it...great WOD...i really liked that one.

During workout: GO with water

Post workout: Butterfinger shake

Meal 4: chili--all organic

Meal 5: egg whites with guacamole

I am definitely going to need tomorrow off...my legs are DEAD!!!

NEW 90 day challenge...day FIVE

Feeling fantastic today!!! :)

Had a great breakfast this morning as always :) 2 whole eggs and 2 egg whites

Meal 2: tuna with salsa and spicy brown mustard

Meal 3: almonds and dried cranberries

Workout:
7 rounds:
7 push press
14 toes to bar
:30 seconds rest between each round

Cashout:
max burpees in 1 minute

did all 7 rounds through. Push press with 75 lbs and still dont have the rhythm down on toes to bar but i got a few of them linked together now where i used to have to stop more often.

Total time was 16:36

did 20 burpees in 1 minute for the cashout

During workout: Go and Pro :) little combo action

Post workout: vanilla shake...like cake mix YUM!

Dinner: chili--all organic and homemade

Great day...shoulders are DEAD!!

NEW 90 day challenge...day FOUR

Church meeting, church...baby shower in W. Liberty :)

GREAT DAY however due to the timing of everything...i simply couldnt make it to crossfit!

I am going to be starting at Bikram Yoga again though this winter so i'll be starting that on Sundays :)

NEW 90 day challenge...day THREE

Took today off....hooooooly soreness!!!!

Hammies, and suprisingly my quads are really sore as well.

I thought with all of those ring dips that my arms would be sore but they're not...i'll have to push it harder next time!!

NEW 90 day challenge....day TWO

Feeling good...not very sore for all the time i've taken off this last month so i'm excited for the WOD today!

Went to see Dr. Tim today for consulation...so i'm a mess that's what he said!! :) haha j/k he didnt say that...but my pelvis is tilted, i kick my leg out when i walk, i slash the air with my left arm and i have some one sided weakness...time to get to work!

Same breakfast everyday...no need to repeat

meal 2: same as breakfast--eggs, bacon, strawberries

meal 3: Kind Bar and dried cranberries

Workout:
5 rounds for time
7 heavy dead lifts
14 ring dips

started workout with box jump challenge...i ate it on the 34(?) inch box jump...gashed my leg...awesome haha didnt try the next one

Did workout with 135 for deadlifts which i was happy with. The rx weight was 185 (uh...yeah that's two of me baha) so obviously i'm not quite there yet. Also did ring dips with purple band.

Overall time: 9:30 (i think...i'm trying to remember on this one because i didnt write it down)

During workout...Pro

Post workout...Butterscotch vi-shake

Dinner...egg whites which guacamole

Leg is sore from hitting it on the box but overall i feel good...hammies got a good workout :)

So, ate the usual mmm yum eggs, tried out some turkey bacon (love it--need to get organic though) and strawberries for breakfast....ground turkey with green peppers for lunch....

Workout:
400 m run
21 pullups, 21 pushups, 21 situps, 21 air squats
400 m run
15 pullups, 15 pushups, 15 situps, 15 air squats
400 m run
9 pullups, 9 pushups, 9 situps, 9 air squats

this was an awesome WOD...liked the programming. I felt good through most of it but it was hard to do the runs after those air squats! I finished with a time of 15: 02 :) felt very good with that!

Lean ground turkey with green peppers for dinner

YAY for being back :)
