NEW 90 day challenge...day three

Today, due to packing, errands, drive to ATL and challenge party...

I took a day off!

Not to mention the total body soreness haha but we'll blame it on the previous mentioned ;)

Hoping to make it to an ATL box tomorrow...looks like mcdonough is where i'll end up if i can but i'm going to try to do Kelly with the CFM schedule!

NEW 90 day challenge...day two!

Well...Nancy and i faced off today and i'd like to think we're still friends! :)

During my last 90 day challenge i did "nancy" in 15:05 and i'm pleased to announce that i have beat my time once again! I did it in 14:16 and i'm very happy with that!

Nancy: 5 rounds 400m run 15 overhead squats

Rx weight was 65 but of course i'm still a weakling in the overhead/power lift area so i did just 45 lbs again...i had hoped i could up the weight from the last time i did it but i was so stinkin sore from "hell"en yesterday that i stuck with 45. Now, in retrospect, i think i could have at LEAST upped it to 50 but i was a sissy...so next time i'll up it for sure!

Anyway, really happy with my gains and i'm excited to say that all of the great nutrition, rest and hardwork is paying off!!

Shake of the day was bananas foster...num nummy!! :)

NEW 90 day challenge...day one

...So, i took 2 weeks off (sometimes you just need a mental vacation...) and i'm BAAAAACK!! :)

Great day to start back right!? Day one of HELL WEEK....time to put my big girl pants on and get at it!

"Hell" en

Decided to go balls to the wall and do the full out "Hell"en

1200m run
62 kb swings
34 pullups

800m run
42 kb swings
24 pullups

400m run
21 kb swings
12 pullups

wow....i'm tired just looking at it...again!

So, looking back at my last challenge (day 7 we did Helen in the last hell week) and my time was 15:25...and i am SO stoked because in THIS advance version of Helen...my first section time (which is the original Helen all mashed together) i did it at around 12 minutes...smashing my old time by a LOT!! My overall "Hell"en time was 22:26 and i'm very very happy with that because i could have done it faster i think! Making lots of changes...drinking my shakes...taking in the right protein and getting the needed rest has really made a world of difference :) Now i'm excited for Nancy tomorrow!! BRING IT!
