Day TWENTY-EIGHT...thrusters yuck

I'm pretty sore after taking a couple of days off and busting my butt yesterday but i'm ready for another day at x-fit! Today's WOD looks hard...yikes!


Meal 1:

4 egg whites, 1 whole egg with tomatoes, green peppers and onions mixed in....throw a little hot sauce in and you've got a western omelette! yumm yumm...personal favorite :) add 3 pieces of bacon and 1/4 cup of blueberries!



Meal 2:

tuna

1/2 cup of almonds and 1/4 cup dried cherries


Meal 3:

bison burgers with sauteed onions and a little soy sauce with broccoli on the side


WOD: 7 rounds for time: 7 KB thrusters, 11 burpees. (yes....that's 77 burpees....awesome) I did it with a 26 lb kg...35 was rx but i knew i'd die. My shoulders arent very strong so i need to work on that! I think my time was around 12 minutes...maybe 10...i cant really remember!


Meal 4:

steak

sweet potato


Meal 5:

spinach salad with all the veggie fixings and 5 hardboiled egg whites in it


Meal 6:

Vi-shake--dark chocolate 8 oz almond milk, and dark chocolate cocoa powder

Day TWENTY-SEVEN....i rx'd!! :)

Feeling better today so it's ooooon....bring it :) Feeling strong today and starting paleo officially so i'm off to the grocery store to get some beefy goodness! This should be interesting...always up for a challenge!

Meal 1:
4 egg whites, one whole egg
3 pieces of bacon
1 orange

Meal 2:
tuna
1/2 cup of organic trail mix

WOD: 5 rounds for time: 10 deadlifts, 10 burpees, 10 toes to bar. Rx weight for girls was 135...so i decided to go for it! What the heck right? Plus...i made fun of Seth and so he told me i had to it haha. So, i cant remember my time...it was pretty bad but i did the proper weight so that's ok! The toes to bar slow me down like crazy too because i cant seem to get them kipping...i drop and then i have to hold for a second and do another one...i have GOT to figure these out! So...rounds 1-3...not so bad...round 4...rough...round 5...death haha i really wanted to keel over but i pushed through! i want to say my time was prob around 19 min if i remember correctly (we're talking 3 weeks ago as i'm writing this)


Stayed after to stretch instead of doing the cashout...knew my hamstrings would be sore!

Meal 3:
2 bison patties with onions and mushrooms with Walden Farms zero cal/zero fat/zero everything bbq sauce! http://www.waldenfarms.com/ and 1/4 cup of almonds

**ps...i'm obsessed with Bison now!!! it's so tasty!

Meal 4:
1/4 head of cabbage with lean ground turkey and 4 egg whites mixed in--spicy mustard

Meal 5:
5 hardboiled egg whites
1/2 cup of organic trail mix

Meal 6:
steak before bed

Great first day of paleo!! It's fun trying new recipes!

Day TWENT-SIX....rest rest

Took the day off to finish getting over these stinkin allergies!!




And i'm playing catch up on the Blog so i cant really remember what i ate...sorry kids!





I'll throw out an amazing recipe that i made recently though to make up for it :)



Guacamole eggs:



hardboiled eggwhites with the yolk removed



Spicy guacamole



red peppers



onions


1tbsp red chili pepper



1/2 garlic clove minced



2 avacados



1/4 white onion chopped



1/2 red pepper chopped






mix those items together and scoop mixture into egg whites!!
